City in the Community is thrilled to auction these worn limited edition Manchester City Chinese New Year jackets.
These limited-edition jackets celebrate the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar, 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit.
This one-of-a kind track jacket features the rabbit that travelled to the moon in beautiful details on the chest.
The jackets have been worn by the men’s first team at the Manchester City home fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers and feature the first teams training kit sponsor OKX. OKX is the official training kit partner of Manchester City’s men’s and women’s first team and does not appear in stores.
All funds raised will go towards City in the Community’s new fundraising initiative Healthy Goals empowering healthier lives through football.
Profits raised will uplift the physical and mental health of young people by creating new community football spaces in Manchester, where the charity's youth-led programmes can also be delivered.
Manchester City is bolstering the Healthy Goals initiative by matching all donations made before the fundraising window closes in September 2023, pound-for-pound. Overall, City Football Group will contribute a maximum of £125,000 (GBP) to City in the Community through this campaign or £500,000 (GBP) in total for all City Football Group affiliated charities participating in the campaign (whichever comes first).
