Jill Scott is an English female footballer who currently plays for Manchester City Ladies and the England national team as a midfielder. The FIFA technical report into the 2011 Women's World Cup described Scott as one of England's four outstanding players—"an energetic, ball-winning midfielder who organises the team well, works hard at both ends of the pitch and can change her team's angle of attack."

Manchester City's charity, City in the Community, has launched a new fundraising initiative Healthy Goals empowering healthier lives through football.

Profits raised will uplift the physical and mental health of young people by creating new community football spaces in Manchester, where the charity's youth-led programmes can also be delivered.

Manchester City is bolstering the Healthy Goals initiative by matching all donations made before the fundraising window closes in September 2023, pound-for-pound. Overall, City Football Group will contribute a maximum of £125,000 (GBP) to City in the Community through this campaign or £500,000 (GBP) in total for all City Football Group affiliated charities participating in the campaign (whichever comes first).
