The Prize

On Sunday 23rd May Manchester City’s Premier League season came to an emotional end as we said our final goodbyes to City Legend Sergio Agüero.

To celebrate Sergio’s enormous contribution to Manchester City over the past decade. The Club have commissioned Terry Kneeshaw, an award-winning UK artist, to create a piece celebrating Sergio’s ten years at the club, with proceeds from the limited-edition prints going to the club’s official charity City in the Community.

The piece features 16 iconic Sergio Agüero shirts from the past decade and is a fantastic gift and collector’s item for any Manchester City fan.

All funds raised from this auction will go towards supporting City in the Community’s new City Thrive programme, which aims to aid positive mental health for young people aged 14 – 25.

City Thrive was developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as the long-term impact on children’s mental health was highlighted as a major concern amongst carers and parents.

The Cause

Manchester City's charity, City in the Community, has launched a new fundraising initiative Healthy Goals empowering healthier lives through football.

Profits raised will uplift the physical and mental health of young people by creating new community football spaces in Manchester, where the charity's youth-led programmes can also be delivered.

Manchester City is bolstering the Healthy Goals initiative by matching all donations made before the fundraising window closes in September 2023, pound-for-pound. Overall, City Football Group will contribute a maximum of £125,000 (GBP) to City in the Community through this campaign or £500,000 (GBP) in total for all City Football Group affiliated charities participating in the campaign (whichever comes first).
