The Prize

A fame made with old wooden boards housing a canvas cut into two, stretched and then sewn with red thread.
Butterflies also made of canvas are arranged inside the work with small pins.
The entire surface is covered with dense words that make up overlapping and inextricable sentences and thoughts, instinctively written according to the flow of consciousness.
A recognizable a sentence cut from an old book that reads "SEMBRAVA SEMPRE DI VOLARE" ("SHE ALWAYS SEEMED TO BE FLYING"), also the title of the work.

Dimensions 31 x 40.5 x 4 cm
