About the artist
Richard Orlinski è a French sculptor and neo-pop visual artist. Born in Paris in 1966, he began his artistic career in the early 2000s. Passionate and driven by the desire to democratise art by making it accessible to the greatest number of people, he decided to devote himself completely to art in 2004. Imbued with pop culture, the artist creates a colourful universe inspired by the wildest animals and iconic objects that marked their generation. In love with art in all its forms, the sculptor explodes the ideas he has received and does not hesitate to decompartmentalise the forms of artistic expression. With a global and universal vision, he likes to explore different fields: sculpture, design, music and live performances. Represented by over 90 galleries in France and abroad, Richard Orlinski è, as of 2015, the best-selling French contemporary artist in the world (Source: Art Price).
