Blue World Rugby Referee shorts, worn by the Italian 15-a-side rugby referee Maria Beatrice Benvenuti.

Born in Rome on June 9, 1993, she began refereeing at youth level in 2009.

She was called up as referee for the men's Serie B and women's Serie A matches, being chosen for the 2013/14 women's title final.

In that same season, following international promotion, she refereed the final of the Fira Seven women's Grand Prix in Moscow between the national seven teams of Russia and England and later led her first test match, between England and South Africa in London. Finally, she was given the role of line assistant at the 2014 Women's World Cup.

On January 21, 2016, she also made her debut in the men's Serie A championship. In April of the same year she was chosen by World Rugby for the referee panel of the women's 7-a-side rugby tournament at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

On March 16, 2018 she made her Six Nations women's debut in Colwyn Bay as referee of the fifth match between Wales and France. In the following July she was also the only F.I.R. representative at the Women's 7-a-side World Cup tournament in San Francisco.

Benvenuti has signed the shorts, making them a unique collector's item.
