Karl Lagasse has been garnering public attention with his 'One Dollar' sculptures since 2009. He began his artistic journey with collages when he was 7 years old. He started experimenting in the Paris subway when he was older, where tagging and graffiti became his artistic world. However, collages remained his true passion. In 2009, Artprice named him one of the 10 best sculptors under the age of 30 in the world. Today he is one of the most interesting and successful contemporary artists.
