Attracted by books, insects, poetry, the human body and politics, after a confrontation with what he would call "the reasons of the heart", he found himself meditating and medicating at the same time.
A doctor by profession, he eagerly pursued the connection between psyche and soma.
After individual psychoanalytic training he joined an "analysis group", realizing that the group gives us the chance to experience the atmosphere of dialogue theater in which multiple roles crystallize over time to give the pleasure and suffering of continuous displacements. In the group the individual is forced to confront different parts of himself, including those unknown to him.
He felt so fragmented and forced to reassess his own identity, realizing that it was not something aquired and then set in stone, but something structured through comparison, by gaining the possibility to find new perspectives.
Turning his interest to the group, he decided to get involved as a painter.
He used brushes to practise a sort of complementary language, an integral expressive mode that over time became indispensable for expressing the states of mind that are most difficult to convey.
Drawing and painting are his traveling companions, a necessary tool for setting the steps of tiring growth.
After several years of solitary painting, he came out of his niche to exhibit his works in national and international exhibitions and fairs.
