As was the case for the entire season, Lorenzo Insigne captained Napoli during the match against AC Milan.

Napoli got off to a bad start, when Theo Hernández gave AC Milan a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes. Giovanni Di Lorenzo would even things up before break, after which Dries Mertens gave Napoli the lead. However, the tie did end all square due to an equaliser by Milan’s Franck Kessié.

Napoli would go on to finish 7th in the league during the 2019/20 season. They won Coppa Italia for the first time in six years, beating Juventus in the final.

Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne played 46 games and scored 13 goals for SSC Napoli in 2019/20 season.
