Julie Dawn Cole played the role of Veruca Salt in the 1971 film "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," based on the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl.
Veruca Salt is one of the five children who win golden tickets and accompany Charlie on the tour. She is depicted as a spoiled and bratty girl who demands everything she wants, and her character famously sings the song "I Want it Now" in the movie.
