Joanna Grasso hold a BFA in painting and drawing and an MFA in exhibition design. She is an artist, curator, and project manager for the arts currently based in Los Angeles. She was Project Coordinator for the exhibition entitled, Sarah Sze: Triple Point, for the U.S. Pavilion of the 2013 Biennale di Venezia. She works with private collectors both locally and abroad, and has managed the studios of various artists including Conceptual Artist Joseph Kosuth (Rome). She has participated with the Workshops of artist duo Rosenclaire (Rosemarie Shakinovsky & Claire Gavronsky) based between South Africa and Italy since 1999. She currently collaborates with Swiss-based performance artist Gordana Bezanov, and explores both clay and printmaking mediums as a primary source of her works. She is fluent in Italian and lived and worked in Italy for almost a decade.
