Manuele Spelta, alias Lele Picà, was born in Voghera in 1979. Having graduated in Architecture in the Milan Polytechnic, he started his career as architect, decorator, designer and professor of history of art and drawing in secondary schools in Pavia, where he lives. An "illumination" in 2011 led to the creation of the strong point in his creative journey; over time, the enthusiasm that encouraged him to look for materials and techniques to exalt the interweaving of painting and light would grow and grow.

The person who characterises his work is the man with a hat, a humble person, almost a shadow on the canvas but a carrier of light. The artist identifies with the person represented in his work and to whom he entrusts the role of narrator of his artistic journey. A static and immobile shadow impressed on the canvas, a man wearing an elegant hat and jacket able to become a carrier of dreams and tourist to faraway places. A visual path is created in which the surreal transforms the real and which the artist chooses to walk together with those who, like himself, choose to identify with that man of simplified forms whoc, like a good friend, guides the spectator in a subjective and imaginary journey. The uniqueness of the sign becomes chromatic multiplicity in the obsessive repetition of the same. The kind man exposes himself to the eye of the beholders, involving them to express their own dreams which together become a multiple concept. The contrast of colors, and the multiplication of the viewpoints create multiple connections between the man and the beholders who become one, an infinite union of individuals and multiple dreams. LELE PICA' has exhibited in Pavia, Milan, Rome, Venice, Florence, Chiari, Cremona, Bologna, Bari, Pescara, Vigevano, Chieti, Zurich, Zante, Ancona, Saronno, Tortona, Ortona, with live performances on RAI2
