The Prize

This auction is for a large electronic sign featuring the Manchester City crest, that was displayed above the entrance to the MCFC Academy and Women’s team training complex at the world leading facility ‘City Football Academy’ in Manchester.

The sign comes with three stars which can also be lit up, the stars are not connected to the main part of the crest so would need to be wall mounted individually. The item comes with back panel including lighting and connections.

This item has recently been removed from the Etihad Stadium hospitality areas as part of the re-branding project launching the new badge of Manchester City.

Conditions: The auction winner will be notified via email. The item is available for collection from City in the Community's office at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. If the winner wants the item delivered, the winner is responsible for the cost of delivery. Due to the size of the item, delivery will take approximately 30 working days. The Cause

Manchester City's charity, City in the Community, has launched a new fundraising initiative Healthy Goals empowering healthier lives through football.

Profits raised will uplift the physical and mental health of young people by creating new community football spaces in Manchester, where the charity's youth-led programmes can also be delivered.

Manchester City is bolstering the Healthy Goals initiative by matching all donations made before the fundraising window closes in September 2023, pound-for-pound. Overall, City Football Group will contribute a maximum of £125,000 (GBP) to City in the Community through this campaign or £500,000 (GBP) in total for all City Football Group affiliated charities participating in the campaign (whichever comes first).
