Destro has signed the shirt on the back, making it a unique collector's item.

Operation Clean Seabed. Genoa CFC is taking to the field to raise funds for "Spazza Apnea". The 2022 edition is a team competition to recover the most waste starting and is set for May 28 in Genoa, Marina di Pisa, Bari, Palermo, Capri and Venice. The mission is to safeguard sealife, protect the environment and contribute to an eco-sustainable planet for future generations.

The Cause

We are freedivers; the sea is our second home.

It is natural for us to pick up a floating bag or rubbish found on the seabed during our dives. Many of us are also competitive freedivers by taking part in freediving competitions.

And so Spazzapnea was born, a real freediving waste collection 'competition'.

In 2018 the first edition, in Genoa.

In 2019 it became an official WWF and Apnea Academy event and, since then, Spazzapnea has been organised simultaneously in various Italian cities.
Spazzapnea does not end here.

Spazzapnea is all year round: every time we dive, we clean up our beloved Sea.
