He is also the lead vocalist of Stone Sour, a band he formed in 1992. Taylor is also known for his work as a songwriter, having written lyrics for all of Slipknot's studio albums and Stone Sour's albums.
He is considered one of the greatest and most recognizable singers in the heavy metal and hard rock genres.
