Astana 2015 body suit signed by Andrea Guardini, points classification lead winner.

Guardini competed in his first professional race in 2011 at the Tour de Langkawi in Malaysia, winning the first stage in the sprint becoming the first Italian to win his debut race. He then won another four stages of the Malaysian competition, the second, sixth and seventh, again in the sprint. In his first season as a professional he won eleven races, in Qatar, Turkey, Slovenia, Portugal and the Giro di Padania, establishing himself as one of the most promising riders in Italian cycling.

In 2012 he won the second, third, fourth, eighth, ninth and tenth stages of the Tour de Langkawi. On 24 May he won the eighteenth stage of the Giro d'Italia, from San Vito di Cadore to Vedelago, beating world champion Mark Cavendish in the sprint. In June he was called up by coach Bettini for a three-day gathering in Levico Terme from 19 to 21 to prepare for the Olympics and the world championship. Later in June, he won three stages at the Tour of Qinghai Lake.

In August 2012 he signed a two-year contract with the Kazakh Astana team and in February 2013 he won the seventh stage of the Tour de Langkawi, from Kuantan to Dungun.

After eleven years as a pro and 43 career victories, he decided to retire.

Guardini has won many sprints, especially in Asia, he holds the record for the Tour de Langkawi in Malaysia. Over the course of his career he has worn the following jerseys: Farnese Vini, Astana, UAE Emirates, Bardiani CSF and Giotti Victoria - with whom he ended his professional career.
