The Prize

Don't miss your chance to bid on this exclusive shirt!

This is an Italy match shirt issued to Alessandro Nesta for his senior debut for the Azzurri against Moldova on 5th October 1996.

Italy won the match 3-1 with Nesta wearing the number 2 and playing the full 90 minutes.

This is a player specification shirt with the nike logo absent from the front in accordance with FIGC regulations and the numbering in flock.

One of the greatest defenders of all time, Nesta was named Serie A defender of the year four times and his glittering career included 3 Serie A titles, 2 Champions Leagues and of course the 2006 World Cup.

He played 78 times for Italy and would have made many more appearances if persistent injuries hadn't forced early international retirement.
