Adam Duritz is the lead singer and songwriter of the American rock band Counting Crows.
Duritz's distinctive singing style and introspective lyrics helped to define the band's sound, which combines elements of rock, folk, and alternative music. Many of the band's songs, including "Mr. Jones," "Round Here," and "A Long December," have become popular radio hits and are widely regarded as classics of the 1990s alternative rock scene.
