10-minute Chat with Peter Jones CBE (1 x winner)

The winner will win the opportunity to chat to Peter Jones CBE for 10 minutes. The virtual chat will be scheduled with the winner on a date to be confirmed. Unfortunately, requests for specific dates cannot be taken.

The following terms and conditions apply:

The winner shall be entitled to one call (the “Call”) with Peter Jones CBE to last no more than 10 (ten) minutes. The Call shall occur on a date to be confirmed at a time to be confirmed by The Peter Jones Foundation (“PJF”), such date and time to be notified to the winner reasonably in advance of the Call. The winner must be available for the Call at the scheduled date and time.
The Peter Jones Foundation shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Call is a video call, to be held via a web-based platform at PJF’s absolute discretion. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to ensure that they have the necessary technical requirements to enable them to join and participate in the Call. If a video call is not possible, PJF shall be entitled to hold the Call as a voice call only.
The winner (or any person on the winner’s behalf) shall not under any circumstances record the Call (including via film, voice record, photos, in writing or otherwise) in any format or medium.
The winner may be invited, in advance of the Call, to submit a limited number of questions to ask Peter Jones CBE during the Call. The PJF/Peter Jones CBE cannot make any guarantees that an/all questions submitted in advance will be answered during the Call.
The Call will be introduced and ended by a PJF representative; who may also remain on the Call for its entire duration.
No person other than the winner as selected may participate in the Call whether on the winner’s behalf or otherwise without PJF’s prior written approval which shall be given at PJF’s sole and absolute discretion (unless the winner is under the age of 18, in which case the winner must be supervised by a parent, or legal guardian at all times during the Call).
If for any reason a winner is unable to attend the Call (including due to technical issues), PJF and/or Peter Jones CBE shall be under no obligation to re-schedule the Call.
If for any reason whatsoever Peter Jones CBE is unable to attend the Call (including due to technical issues, unavailability due to illness or otherwise) on the scheduled date/time, PJF will use its reasonable endeavours to re-schedule the Call and shall inform the winner of the re-scheduled date and time reasonably in advance of the re-scheduled Call.
If the Call is interrupted, cut short or does not last 10 minutes for any reason whatsoever (including due to technical issues, unavailability due to illness or otherwise) PJF and/or Peter Jones CBE shall be under no obligation to re-connect the Call or re-schedule the Call for another date/time.
PJF and/or Peter Jones CBE may end the Call at any time for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, in the event of inappropriate, offensive or unacceptable language and/or behavior by the winner on the Call as determined by PJF or Peter Jones CBE at their absolute discretion, or the winner on the Call is in breach of, or is believed to be in breach of, any of these terms and conditions.
Any advice, opinion or any other content of the Call shall not constitute formal business, legal or any other form of professional advice or opinion of any kind.
Each of PJF and Peter Jones CBE may, at their absolute discretion, record the Call in any format and by any method for security and/or legal purposes. Each winner grants separately to each of PJF and Peter Jones CBE a perpetual, worldwide, sub-licensable, royalty-free right to use any content or other matter discussed during the Call in any publicity, promotional activity or other purposes and waives any moral or other right to be identified as a participant in the Call.
The prize is final and non-transferable. No substitute prize shall be offered.
These terms and conditions and this auction prize are subject to the General Terms of The Peter Jones Foundation Virtual Fundraiser (the “PJF Terms”) available at www.peterjonesfoundation.org/fundraisert&cs. By making a bid for this prize, entrants acknowledge and accept the PJF Terms.
