The Poland 21c Foundation is a charity based in Warsaw, Poland. Since 2012, we’ve been on a mission to eliminate discrimination against people with disabilities.

In these harsh times, we’re also here to support people fleeing from Ukraine, and we want to appeal to all those who would like to contribute.

Your donation will help us buy the basic items that people escaping the warzone need to function a little bit more normally once they get to safety.

Among others, we are going to buy food, clothes, and medicines, as well as other things on a needed basis.

If you’re interested in what we ‘ve managed to do so far, here’s a report from our latest most recent trip to the Ukrainian border. On March the 22nd, we went to the border crossing in Medyka with a transport of items for the refugees. Then we went to Przemyśl, to help people who needed transportation to the interior of Poland. We drove some of them to the Chopin Airport in Warsaw, and others to the Warsaw-West railway station.

Next trips are already planned.

There are currently over 2 million Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Many of them have fled their homes with only a suitcase and a backpack, leaving their whole life behind, in ruins. Our aim is to provide them with items of immediate need when they arrive here in Poland, whether it’s clothes, sleeping bags diapers, toys for children or anything else we can help with.
