In the 27 residential centers and in the thirty clinics active in 9 Italian regions, the operators of the Don Gnocchi Foundation take care of over 9,000 people: children and young people with disabilities, patients with trauma, stroke, multiple sclerosis, ALS , Parkinson, Alzheimer or other serious disabling pathologies, people in need of neuromotor or cardiorespiratory rehabilitation, elderly people who are not self-sufficient, terminally ill or in a prolonged vegetative state.
All in a global vision that does not forget families and that guarantees continuity of care from one level of care to another, be it the hospital, the rehabilitation centre, the clinic or the home.

The proceeds from the auction will go to support the "Bosnia and Herzegovina" project.

The aim of the project is to guarantee health care for children and young people with cognitive and motor disabilities. The Marija Naša Nada Center in Široki Brijeg takes care of 37 children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities every year in a day care regime and offers outpatient services to more than 200 minors with neuromotor disabilities. The Center now needs funds to provide home care and to create new spaces for rehabilitation through play and sport.

The beneficiaries of the project are 100 children and young people with disabilities who will be allowed to follow rehabilitation cycles with suitable tools through the redevelopment of the Centre's gym, and 50 families who will be allowed to receive treatment at home, as they bring their children at the Center it is too high a cost for many families.
