The work is a symbolic and archetypal representation of a journey into the interior of one's ancestral soul, on the rediscovery of the spirit.

Saverio Filioli's works are mainly expressionist and abstract and are characterized by having a strong impact and an impetuous and impulsive pictorial flow that allow the greatness of soul and spirit to be conveyed without being influenced or reduced by the patterns of reason.

Much importance is placed on the use of shapes, colors and the support used which is often obtained from recycled and readapted pieces such as old furniture and objects now in disuse. Conceptual and symbolic forms that merge and are layered, giving meaning and depth to the works.

Filioli's works have been exhibited and displayed in various Italian galleries (Galleria Romano - Gallipoli, Galleria L'oleandro - Castellana Grotte, Galleria Spazio 40 - Rome, Museo Faggiano - Lecce, etc ...) and abroad at the ART 11 gallery in Canada (Montreal) and in Luxembourg.
