Bid and win two hospitality passes in the British Racing Drivers’ Club at Silverstone for the British GP in July 2017.

This is a money can’t buy lot to experience the Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2017 from the exclusive to the members only BRDC Grandstand. The successful bidder of this lot will win two passes, one VIP car pass and two BRDC Grandstand allocated seats to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. This package includes lunch before the Grand Prix on Sunday (including beer and wine) and use of the BRDC VIP buggies.

In addition, the tickets will gain access to the hallowed grounds of the British Racing Drivers’ Club. The BRDC Clubhouse offers the best viewing at Silverstone together with an exclusive, comfortable environment that is only normally available to those who have achieved at the highest levels of International Motorsport.

You will have the unique chance to be in the company of the World Champions and the ‘great and good’ of motorsport. These tickets are far superior to any others on offer at the British Grand Prix and so much more than ‘normal hospitality’ and are not available outside the Club.

The Cause

In 2013, professional racing driver Sean Edwards was tragically killed at a race circuit in Eastern Australia. His death may have been avoided had more staunch safety procedures been followed. The foundation that now bears his name is working to prevent such consequences by lobbying for, implementing and promoting a number of essential driver and track safety initiatives, as well as a change in general attitudes.

Established by Sean's mother, the foundation aims to implement initiatives that educate drivers about safety within their sport. While the quest for better safety standards in terms of technology and procedure continues, the determining factor remains the same as it has for a century: the human behind the wheel.

Sean was stringent on the subject of driver safety when coaching, but he still paid the ultimate sacrifice. It is the re-setting of drivers’ attitudes towards their racing and coaching that now motivates the foundation in its campaign for greater appreciation of personal safety and responsibility. The Sean Edwards foundation initiatives are being developed for educational programs for children, circuit testing and training and awareness raising projects.
