When creating the work the artist Raf, former Professor at the Polytechnic of Turin / Milan and the Catholic University of Milan, as well as Researcher of Physics / Mathematics for the National Groups C.N.R. - G.N.F.M., respected the tradition (i.e. use of oil on canvas) and the aims of the Informal art with betrayal, passion and experience.
RAF, born Raffaele Dragani (Ortona - Chieti, Italy, 1951) is an international artist who has been active since the 1960s: he gradually came to abstraction starting from figuration (still lives, landscapes and portraits).
Consistently distant from the galleries and the clamor of the traditional artistic path, he has worked being almost exclusively motivated by his passions - the true engine behind his artistic work - to satisfy different material, as well as psychological and emotional needs in a constant mission to best express himself.
