Carlotta Gilli has chosen to support the OBM Onlus activities by donating the swimsuit, goggles and cap she trained in before the Paralympics.
Carlotta Gilli born in 2001, "born in water", as she says. Her swimming career began when she was just eight, in 2009, and she moved to competitive sports the same year. Despite her sight impairments caused by Stargardt's disease, since 2017 she also began competing for the Italian Paralympic Swimming Federation. In addition to her passion for swimming, Carlotta attends the Faculty of Technical and Psychological Sciences at the University of Turin. She recently competed in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, winning the gold medal in the 100 butterfly, silver in the 100 backstroke and 400 freestyle, bronze in the 50 freestyle and gold in the 200 medley.
