CharityStars are auctioning a very rare and unique item; the football shirt worn by the legendary footballer Gigi Riva during the 1964-65 Championship Games.

The shirt is made of a light woollen material with long sleeves (making it very rare indeed, given that most of the Cagliari footballer’s shirts were made of a thin material with short sleeves.) This particular shirt was part of the private collection owned by the Sports attorney Dario Canovi, who decided to auction it to raise money for a project from the charity “Girotondo For Africa.” The charity association will present the winning bidder with a certificate of authenticity if it is so requested.
