Asare Adjei is an interdisciplinary artist, architect and photographer whose works combine observations and commentary on world culture, human rights, cosmology and concerns around the contemporary representations of African identity. Born 1975 and raised in both Ghana and England, Asare has developed an inimitable dual-cultural perspective which he infuses into his work. He continues to live and work between London (UK) and Accra (Ghana). In addition, Asare has travelled extensively around the world and also lived in the USA. Through his travelling he developed a passion for world culture and indigenous tribes which now forms the main subject area for most of his artwork.
