In this work, Akore paints Sharbat Gula, an Afghan woman of the Pashtun ethnic group who became famous for her photograph taken by Steve McCurry during the War in Afghanistan, when Gula, aged 12, was in the refugee camp. or Nasir Bagh in Pakistan.
With this work, Akore wants to honor every innocent girl who suffers the ravages of war. Childhood deserves to always be protected. She and she are the hope.

About the Artist
Akore is considered one of the most active and recognized urban artists in Barcelona today. He has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions, events and international projects. His unique style is centered around post-graffiti and has been defined as primitive, tribal, abstract, hip funk, electro-afropunk, and is called "Afrocolor". His portraits and paintings of African tribal women reflect the soul of Mother Africa, with whom he has always felt spiritually connected.
