Ignasi Calvet Esteban began his career in the Bruguera publishing house in 1973. He worked for the German market as a cartoonist for Felix the Cat and Flip & Flap and for the British publisher Fleetway.

In the eighties he began drawing for Disney. He is a truly great cartoonist who knows how to capture the Disney soul.
