"Taking Care"

- Format A4
- Schmincke watercolors on textured paper, 290gr

"Take care", two words that we often use to end conversations with the people we love. Two tigers, the irrepressible energy and drive, they are no stranger to desire and they know their weak points - they guard them. Sometimes they are tamer, sometimes less tame. The body - well guarded - is a glass container shaped by socialization, education and prohibition that is so fragile that any strong emotion is enough to make it crack. It, in turn, protects something, that pulsating nucleus in the center of the chest that is not always necessarily the heart. There lies the profound meaning of all things, the voice within ourselves that deep down knows which road to take.

La Tram (Margherita Tramutoli) was born in Potenza and lives in Livorno.

She has worked as a graphic designer for many years with the international organization Unesco, CCIVS France as well as Italian and international agencies and NGOs. In publishing she has collaborated, among others, with Corriere della Sera, Il Manifesto, Elliott Edizioni, Edizioni Erasmo and Zero in Condotta. Among her volumes are "Flags - A complete history of Resistances" (Barta Edizioni), "The Jungle Book" (Kleiner Flug), "Ecology explained to children" (Beccogiallo) and "Vivi e Vegeta - I hate palm oil"(Bao Publishing). She is currently working on an anthology for Feltrinelli Comics.

She teaches Color Theory at The Sign - Comics & Arts Academy in Florence.
