The Prize

Riccardo Guasco has donated his Moleskine Album Notebook 14x21 cm featuring 20 illustrated pages in china and ecoline.

Created live during the national premiere at the Ristori Theater in Verona in November 2019 for PAQUITO, POSTCARDS FROM SOUTH AMERICA Texts by Elisabetta Garilli with live illustrations by Riccardo Guasco. Music from South America performed by Enrica Bacchia, Massimo Zemolin and Luca Nardon.

Riccardo Guasco, “Rik”, is one of the best Italian illustrators. Born in Alessandria in 1975, he takes inspiration from the Italian and European artistic avant-gardes and nurtures a strong passion for Picasso, Depero and Feininger.

He is known for his posters that combine poetry and irony, creating images to make even the eyes smile. His illustrations are characterized by simple lines and few colors that seek lightness of form and chromatic warmth.

His works appear in advertising campaigns, magazines, books, hats and bicycles. Guasco boasts collaborations with The New Yorker, Eni, TIM, Diesel, Rizzoli, Baldini & Castoldi, Poste Italiane, Campo Viejo, Giunti, Moleskine, Rapha, Thames & Hudson, DeAgostini, Sole 24 Ore, Emergency, Greenpeace, Rai and L ' Espresso.
