About Joan Miró

Born near Barcelona in 1893, Miró turned to art after moving to Paris. In 1923 his work saw a breakthrough when his symbolic-abstract style surfaced.

Considered one of the most important artists of his time, the poetic vision, drama and cheerfulness of Miró’s work shows a fascination with the primitive art of cave paintings.

Two Wheels for Life hold fundraising events around the world to help raise money for programmes that enable healthcare to reach rural communities in Africa with reliable transport systems. They are the official charity of the FIM and MotoGP™ and with their support are able to run unique events and give motor racing fans access to exclusive experiences and unique moto-memorabilia.
