The event “La Donna è Mobile?” (“Woman is fickle like a feather in the wind”, from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Rigoletto”), promoted by the Mantuan companies Castor, Lubiam and Pasotti, was a great success at Fuori Salone - Milan Design Week 2014. Now, it is time for the final Charity Auction to begin: the public has the chance to acquire the works of art realised by five artists for the event.

From 8^th to 12^th april, Castor Showroom was the location of the live performance of artists Giulia Ranzanici, Elena Borghi, Caterina Gatta e Micol Sabbadini – Stuart Semple worked in his atelier in London : the artists accepted the challenge of the three companies and represented through their artistic vision a powerful, dynamic woman, protagonist of her own life.

In conjunction with the inauguration of the online auction the three companies are showing at Mantova- their home town- from September 3^rd to the 10^th in the Casa del Rigoletto five works, the location which absolutely fits the theme gives the names of the events title.

On auction is the fantastic work by Elena Borghi, artist, illustrator and cultivator of forgotten words. She brings life to the pockets of spaces that lack creativity.

Description: Created from a Castor 100% cotton maxi-blouse, “squAMATI” is an
installation celebrating a woman who is instinctive, precious and free. “squAMATI” is a
sort of armour, a costume telling the story of a woman able to renew herself through
