Villa La Massa is an elegant country residence of a noble Florentine family, transformed into a luxury hotel in 1948. A member of The Leading Hotels of The World, Villa La Massa joined the prestigious Villa d’Este Group in 1998.
The package includes a two-night stay for two in a Prestige Double Room overlooking the park and the Arno river breakfast included, to be used from March 16, 2022 to November 12, 2022, upon reservation based on availability.
Located on the banks of the Arno, in the Chianti wine region, the Villa is 15 minutes from the center of Florence. This 5-star hotel, an architectural gem of the 13th century, is an oasis of peace surrounded by 10 hectares of parkland. All around, the Tuscan countryside stretches as far as the eye can see: olive trees, vines and cypresses enliven the landscape with unmistakable colors and scents.
The exclusive Il Verrocchio restaurant has an enchanting terrace overlooking the Arno river and offers traditional Italian and Tuscan dishes accompanied by excellent wines. Lunch is served at L'Oliveto bistrot and, in summer, also at the Pool Bar. The Mediceo Bar is the ideal place to sip an aperitif or one of the signature cocktails prepared with liqueurs from the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica of Santa Maria Novella. The cellar dating back to the 15th century preserves the best labels and is the perfect location for tastings.
Relaxation is guaranteed at the Arno Spa. And for the more active guests there's a heated outdoor pool, gym, exercise and yoga area, jogging paths, bicycles. A Tennis Club and riding stables are in the immediate vicinity while the Ugolino Golf Club is just a few kilometers from the hotel.
