Andriy Shevchenko (born 29 September 1976 in Dvirkivshchyna) is a Ukrainian football manager and former player who played as a forward. Considered one of the strongest and most complete strikers of all time, he made his debut for Dynamo Kiev, where he won five Ukrainian championships and three domestic cups. In 1999 he joined AC Milan, where he won a Scudetto, a European Super Cup, an Italian Super Cup, a UEFA Champions League and an Italian Cup. In 2006 he was bought by Chelsea, where he won an FA Cup and an English League Cup. In the summer of 2008 he returned to Milan on annual loan. A year later he returned to Dynamo Kiev, where he won a Ukrainian Super Cup. With the Ukrainian national team he competed in the 2006 World Cup and the 2012 European Championships played at home, after which he retired from competitive activity. He won the Ballon d'Or in 2004
