RAF, born Raffaele Dragani (Ortona - Chieti, Italy, 1951) is an artist who has been active since the 1960s: he gradually came to abstraction starting from figuration (still lifes, landscapes and portraits) with the representation of faithful and accurate images very close to the nineteenth-century styles.

Consistently distant from the galleries and the clamors of the traditional artistic path, he has worked being almost exclusively motivated by his passions - the true engine behind his artistic work - to satisfy different material, as well as psychological and emotional needs in a constant mission to best express himself.
