Ceramic sculpture of archer by Giovanni Ronzan.
Giovanni Ronzan was born in 1906, in the Vicenza area, the cradle of Venetian ceramics and, following the death of his father during the First World War, soon became head of the family.
He started working at a very young age at the Bonato ceramics firm in Bassano and, after attending professional sculpture courses at the Technical Institute of Nove, he went to Milan, where he started working as a ceramist at the Fabris porcelain factory. In 1939 he started his own business, founding the first ceramics company Ronzan.

Alviero Martini was born in Cuneo on March 13, 1950, where he completed his artistic studies and soon began to travel while working as a window dresser. In 1987, his search for "something unique" led him a date with destiny . In Moscow he found a fascinating and faded old map. He glued it onto an old suitcase and thus he stumbled upon the idea to create an innovative line of baggage embellished with geographic maps. 1990 marks a successful year across the globe. Recognized as the creator of a new travel concept, he rapidly became well known as the 'traveling stylist'.
