Pietro Castellitto has chosen to support OBM Onlus by donating the script of "I Predatori", a film he wrote, directed and performed in.
The auction winner will take home his signed script.
Pietro Castellitto is a well-known Italian actor, director, screenwriter and writer. Born in Rome, son of actor and director Sergio Castellitto and writer Margaret Mazzantini, he made his debut as an actor at thirteen in the film Don't Move, directed by his father. He graduated in philosophy from the Sapienza University of Rome and began writing while continuing to act in films directed by his father such as La Bellezza del Somaro (2010) and Venuto al Mondo. In 2012 he was chosen by Lucio Pellegrini for the film È nata una Star? and in 2018 he played Secco in the film La profezia dell’armadillo directed by Emanuele Scaringi. In 2020 he made his directorial debut with the feature film I Predatori, written and performed by himself,winning the Orizzonti award in 2021 for best screenplay at the 77th Venice Film Festival, the David di Donatello and the Silver Ribbon as best new director. In the same year he played Francesco Totti in the Sky series Speravo de morì prima, and Cencio in Gabriele Mainetti's Freaks out. He has just published his first novel Gli iperborei with Bompiani.
