CharityStars presents a collection of 15 artworks that lead us in an exceptional modern and contemporary art tour. Mixed media on paper. Year 1980. The dimensions are 37x49 cm. It is a typical portrait of Salvador De Aulestia (Barcelona 1915 - Milan 1994). Founder of the movement apotista, De Aulestia is, with Miro, Dalì, Tapies and Picasso, one of the mythical "Los cincos", the five great Spanish artists of the twentieth century. Much appreciated in the United States, he had among his collectors several Hollywood stars, such as Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando and future President Ronald Reagan He represented Spain at the Venice Biennale in 1968 with a solo show, and starred in a series of exhibitions to four hands with Salvador Dali. Also appreciated as a sculptor, De Aulestia is the author of the largest sculpture in the world of wrought iron, El Sideroploide, of 60 meters long and 17 high, located in the port of Barcelona.
