The Prize

Every private Windsor taxi tour is arranged and tailored to meet your needs. Some are staying at Heathrow on a layover tour and take advantage of Windsor Castle being around 20 minutes away. Others are staying in London but want to enjoy all we have to offer, right on London’s doorstep.

Some guests want to have an internal tour of the castle while others are content to enjoy a quintessential English afternoon tea in the sunshine with the castle in sight. And those with the most stamina and determined to pack in as much as they can in one day will pair up Windsor with a trip to Hampton Court and even Bath or the Cotswolds.

At the Royal Borough of Windsor you will see and have the opportunity to visit Windsor Castle, which has been home to Monarchs for nearly 1000 years.

Your experienced Windsor tour guide will explain the history of the castle which was first built by William the Conquer in the 11th century. You should have plenty of time to take an internal tour of the castle if you would like too and we can arrange these tickets for you in advance (additional charge).

Time to stretch your legs when your guide takes you on a short walking tour around the town crossing the Windsor bridge to arrive in Eton. Enjoy a little wander around the quaint side streets and of course see the famous Eton College. When you get back to your iconic London taxi we drive through old Windsor and Windsor Great Park to the one-time island of Runnymede, where in 1215 King John sealed the Magna Carta.
