Roger Federer is considered by many as the greatest tennis player of all time. He has won a record-breaking 17 Grand Slam singles titles: eight Wimbledon titles, five consecutive US Opens, one French Open and five Australian Opens. He also holds the Open Era record for 302 weeks as the world no. 1 – including an amazing 237-consecutive-week stretch at the top from 2004 to 2008. He has also won six ATP World Tour Finals, the Olympic gold medal in doubles with Stan Wawrinka at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, and the Olympic silver medal in singles at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. This year, he became the first man to win eight Wimbledon men’s singles titles.
He has donated for the past four years in a row, being the highest sportsman donor in the 2016 auction.
