Franck Henry Pierre Ribéry is a French football manager and former footballer who played as a striker, technical coach for Salernitana. Considered one of the strongest left wingers in history, his career was mainly linked to Bayern Munich, where he played for twelve seasons and won nine German championships. At the end of the 2012/13 season, which saw him win a prestigious treble (Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB Pokal), he was named UEFA Best Player in Europe and best player of the year at the Globe Soccer Awards. He made 81 appearances and scored 16 goals with the French national team, becoming world runner up at the 2006 World Cup.
