Andrea Ranocchia (born 16 February 1988 in Assisi) is an Italian former footballer who played as a defender. After the youth sectors of Perugia and Arezzo, he moved to Antonio Conte's Bari. In the summer of 2010 he moved to Genoa and after only six months he was purchased by Inter. He stayed in Milan until 2022, being loaned to Sampdoria and Hull City in between. With Inter he won a Serie A Championship, two Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup. In September 2022, just three months after his arrival at Monza, he announced his retirement following a serious injury. He boasts 21 appearances for the Italian national team.
