Bid on a one-off piece of art painted by Ralph McTell on the soundboard of one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever created, the legendary Gibson J45.

This unique artwork was inspired by the song "Streets of London," a true masterpiece in its own right.

The artwork was created for NO STRINGS ATTACHED, an artistic project featuring over fifteen famous musicians and performers.

Ralph McTell 

A singer-songwriter of international acclaim, Ralph McTell is the composer of the Ivor Novello award winning, international hit song (and buskers favourite) Streets of London. 


One of the great storytellers, McTell is now celebrating more than 50 years on the road. Known for his virtuoso guitar style, he invites listeners into a unique world where he weaves a narrative that is both significant and poignant.

  • This item is framed alongside a Gibson J-45 scratchplate, hand-signed by Ralph McTell.
