We are thrilled to announce that the Royal British Legion’s corporate charity 6-a-side tournament will be held this year at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club, on Tuesday May 28, 2019.

This auction is for entry of a 6 a-side team - including a squad of 10 players and a manager - in the annual Royal British Legion Challenge Cup.

Experience how it feels to play like a professional team for the day, playing alongside your friends and colleagues, representing your company, brand or group.

Your team will receive:

• Entry for a 6 a-side team, including a squad of 10 players and a manager
• A Legion branded kit
• Post-match food and drinks at the club’s hospitality suite

For nearly 100 years we have been fighting on behalf of our Armed Forces community. We believe that no-one who has served to protect our freedom should be disadvantaged because of the sacrifices they have made. Despite their sacrifices on behalf of us all, there are those with nowhere to turn, and over 90,000 people turn to us for help every year.

We provide lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families. People need help for many different, often complex reasons. They may be facing employment issues or financial difficulties, or may need help related to housing, homelessness or living independently. They may face mental and physical health challenges, need care in later life or need help building local community connections. Whatever issues people face, our staff and volunteers are trained so they can direct enquiries to the most appropriate Legion service. And, if we can’t help, our vast network of partner charities and organisations means we will know someone who can.

As the Custodian of Remembrance, we remember those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts; from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day, as well as all those who have served and their families. Every year we organise the Poppy Appeal, and we lead the nation in commemorating and honouring those who have served and sacrificed.
