Considered one of the greatest talents in Georgian football, he has also been awarded three consecutive times as his country's Footballer of the Year (2020, 2021, 2022). After winning a Russian Cup with Lokomotiv Moscow in 2019, he became Italian champion with Napoli in the 2022/23 season.
