Pablo Picasso - Original lithograph with dry stamp. (After)
Take home this offset lithograph by Pablo Picasso dated 1995 and one of just 250 pieces hand-numbered and displaying the artist's printed signature.
Pablo Ruiz y Picasso, more simply known as Pablo Picasso (Malaga, October 25th, 1881 – Mougins, April 8th, 1973), was a Spanish painter and sculptor, and one of the most influential of the 20th century. A crucial intersection between 19th century tradition and contemporary art, Picasso was an innovative and versatile artist who left an indelible mark on the history of art as the founder - together with Georges Braque - of Cubism.
Following a rather tormented childhood - which is clearly expressed in his paintings from the so-called blue and pink periods - he shot to fame in the 1920s; his universally-renowned works include "Les demoiselles d'Avignon" (1907) and "Guernica" (1937).
