Directly from the exhibition at Palazzo Bembo called "Personal Structures" in Venice, the talented international artist Carrie Able has decided to donate this precious watercolor signed and dated on the back to contribute to the charity auctions of History Life Onlus.

Carrie Able is a New York-based visual artist, musician, and XR Artist (virtual and augmented reality). Able has made her name as a pioneer in XR Art as a multidisciplinary artist who breaks genres within the field of art. Pioneering new techniques, Able is at the forefront of VR and AR art expanding the uses of this new technology to include all facets of her work in VR sculpture, oil painting, music, and coding, bringing these elements to the fore of the art world.

The "Personal Structures" exhibition is a biennial contemporary art exhibition organized and hosted by the European Cultural Center in Venice, Italy.

The Cause

History Life Onlus was born out of a group of young volunteers’ passion for history and culture.

Our belief is that knowledge is the heritage of us all and that every one of us should know his/her own past in order to become a better version of himself/herself.

At the center of our activities are the protection, promotion and enhancement of culture and art in all of their forms and expressions. To this end, one of our main goals for 2017 is to create a fund for scholarships for deserving but economically disadvantaged students.

We believe that knowledge is a right of everyone: every citizen of the world should have the possibility to access it, independently from his/her economic situation, because only instruction makes men truly free.
