The Golden Foot Award is an international football award given to players of at least 28 years of age who stand out for their athletic achievements (both as individuals and team players) and for their personality. 

Each year an International Committee of journalists compiles a shortlist of ten nominees, which is subsequently voted on by supporters online. 

The winner of the award leaves a permanent mold of his footprints on The Champions Promenade, a sort of Football Walk of Fame, on the seafront of the Principality of Monaco.
