This auction is for a pair of Vans Plimsolls autographed by the entire Muse line up. They have been donated from his personal shoe collection.

Muse are one of the biggest rock bands in the world. The three-piece consists of Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals, keyboards) and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion). Muse have won numerous music awards, including five MTV Europe Music Awards, eight NME Awards, two Brit Awards, and two Grammy Awards, winning Best Rock Album for The Resistance and Drones. They have sold over 20 million albums worldwide.

This is the first time Muse have supported Small Steps Project.

They have, this year, generously donated a pair of very groovy signed burgundy Vans plimsolls in a size 9. Two signatures are on the left shoe and two are on the right.

TP Muse headlined at this Year's Glastonbury putting on an epic, spectacular show on the Pyramid Stage on Friday night.

Muse have personally donated these shoes in support of Small Steps Project.

原因

Small Steps Project is a children’s charity dealing with the most devastating humanitarian consequence of the global waste problem: child waste pickers.

All over the world thousands of children survive by collecting and recycling rubbish on landfill sites. Deprived of an education, they work when they should be at school and put their lives at risk on a daily basis. Work on the dumps is dirty and dangerous. As well as respiratory and skin diseases, cuts and lacerations to their hands and feet are commonplace and risk of infection is extremely high in the toxic environment.

Small Steps Project provides shoes to protect their feet and support to enable them to take small steps off the dump sites, out of poverty and into education.

To date, Small Steps Project has provided shoes and aid to over 20,000 children thanks to the money raised from shoes, all donated and signed by some of the most famous celebrities in the world.
